Slutty Brownies

Slutty Brownies – so named as they are filthy and amazing! These are brownies with a lot of ‘extras’. It is layers of cookie, oreos and brownie. These are one of my favourite things to make for dessert, when friends come over or as a gift. What’s not to like! I’ve put some helpful pictures and then my full recipe at the bottom.


Line a 30×20 tin and cream together the sugar and butter


It should look like this!


Add an egg and beat together


Add in the vanilla bean paste and combine


Mix in the flour, salt and a mix of dark and milk chocolate chips

Tip – You could also add in mini marshmallows and white chocolate chips if you fancy


This is your finished cookie dough – try not to eat it all before it goes in the oven.



Use your fingertips to work the cookie dough into the tin


You need to space the oreos out a little bit so you get uniformity in the width but also so the brownie mixture can run through to the cookie layer


For the brownies – melt the butter and chocolate


Combine the eggs, sugars and vanilla in a bowl


Until light and bubbly


Cool the melted chocolate and butter mixture


And then pour into the egg and sugar mix


Whisk it together quickly – so the chocolate doesn’t start to cook the egg


The mixture will start to thicken slightly


Whisk in the flour, salt and cocoa powder


Pour over the oreos


Make sure the mixture goes all the way to edges.
Bake and serve as quick as possible!




Makes 9 greedy or 12 sensible squares
Prep time 30 minutes
Cook time 35 minutes


Cookie Base:
120g Butter
125g Light Brown Soft Sugar
100g Caster Sugar
1 Egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
220g Self Raising flour
1/2 tsp Salt
100g Milk Chocolate Chips
100g Dark Chocolate Chips

2 x 154g Oreos packs (with a few leftover to nibble)

Brownie Mixture:
200g Butter
200g Plain Chocolate
150g Light Muscovado Sugar
100g Caster Sugar
4 Eggs, beaten
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
120g Plain Flour
1 tbsp Cocoa
1/2 tsp Salt

Preheat the oven to 180c/160fan and line a 20×30 tin with greaseproof paper.

To make the cookie base, cream the butter and sugars together in a bowl. Add in the egg and vanilla paste and beat together. Add in the flour, salt and chocolate chips and beat together until well combined. Push the cookie dough into the tin and press down to form the base. Top with a layer of oreos and refrigerate until needed.

To make the brownie top, gently melt the butter and chocolate together in a saucepan and then allow to cool slightly. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugars, eggs and vanilla extract until light. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the sugar mix and whisk together quickly. Add in the flour, cocoa and salt and whisk together until well combined.

Pour the brownie mixture over the cookie and oreo base and then transfer to the oven and cook for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the tin. Allow to cool (for as long as you can bear) and tuck in!
